Electronics and Integration Technician (m/f/d)
What we offer
Your mission
- Maintain a clean, organized, ESDsafe lab; define bench layouts, shadow boards, tool cribs, andlabelingstandards.
- Implement and enforce safety practices (ESD, PPE, LOTO for mains work, battery handling, fume extraction, MSDS/chemicals register).
- Assemble power boxes, camera/sensor modules, cable harnesses, and rugged enclosures (IPrated) from drawings, BoMs, and work instructions.
- Crimp, solder, and terminate military and industrial connectors (e.g., MILDTL38999, M12, DSub, MC4, circulars); apply heatshrink, boots, backshells, strain relief.
- Build and dress wire looms/harnesses; route and secure cables for shock/vibration and EMI/EMC best practices.
- Perform mechanical fit-ups: drilling, tapping, panel mounting, gland installation, gasketing, enclosure sealing.
- Handle 230 VAC (Schuko/IEC) sub-assemblies (inlets, fusing, RCD, surge, filtering) safely; apply L/N/PE wiring conventions.
- Integrate DC/DC converters, batteries, protection (fuses, breakers), and distribution; verify polarity, isolation, and grounding.
- Follow work instructions, IPC/WHMA workmanship standards, and QMS processes (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Create/update build records, test reports, travellers, asbuilt redlines, and kit lists.
- Suggest and implement process improvements (fixtures, pokayoke, ESD controls, test steps, labeling).
Your profile
- 3–6 years hands‑on experience as an electronics lab/production/integration technician or similar.
- Strong skills in cable harnessing, hand soldering (THT + basic SMD), and precision crimping for circular/industrial connectors.
- Safe work with 230 VAC circuits and low‑voltage DC power systems; familiarity with protective earth, fusing, and isolation.
- Comfortable with schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings; can build from incomplete info and resolve ambiguities.
- Proficient with DMM, bench supplies, scopes, and basic data logging; structured debugging approach.
- Experience with 3D printing (FDM) and basic workshop tools (drill press, hand tools, torque tools, rivnuts, taps).
- Strong organizational skills; ability to own the lab environment and improve it continuously.
- Good written/spoken English for documentation; basic German is a plus (safety/labels).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with MIL‑DTL‑38999, VG, LEMO, Amphenol, Binder, HARTING,Weipu, Deutsch connectors.
- Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610, IPC/WHMA‑A‑620, J‑STD‑001; any relevant certifications are a plus.
- Exposure to EMC/EMI fundamentals, shielding/grounding, and IP67/IP68 sealing practices.
- Experience with battery safety (Li‑ion handling, BMS basics), fuse/breaker selection, inrush limiting, and TVS.
