Senior Robotics UAV Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

Develop autonomous capabilities for fixed-wing and multi-rotor UAVs
Build and tune navigation, localization, and motion planning systems
Integrate real-time sensor data from LiDAR, cameras, GPS, IMUs, and more
Implement SLAM, visual odometry, and reinforcement learning approaches
Deploy, test, and iterate in real-world environments
Work closely with perception, AI, and mechatronics teams to ship reliable, field-tested systems
Own code from simulation to flight hardware

Your profile

Strong ROS / ROS2 experience in real UAV or robotics systems
Proficient in C++ for real-time robotics applications
Background in robotics and autonomous systems (academic or practical)
Experience with mapping, SLAM, and visual odometry
Knowledge of UAV navigation, localization, and motion control
Experience with path planning and motion planning algorithms
Comfort integrating and debugging multi-sensor systems
Experience testing in real hardware setups and system-level debugging
