Biomimetic Flight Engineer (m/w/d) – Animal-Inspired UAV Design

Your mission

Develop bio-inspired UAVs that mimic bird, insect, or bat flight dynamics for enhanced agility and stealth
Design adaptive wing structures, flapping-wing mechanisms, and morphing airframes for efficient aerial maneuvering
Optimize biologically inspired aerodynamics to improve UAV efficiency, endurance, and low-speed control
Work with lightweight materials, soft robotics, and bio-mimetic actuators for next-gen drone mobility
Integrate AI-powered flight control systems for real-time adaptive maneuvering and autonomous behavior
Collaborate with aerospace, robotics, and material science teams to push UAV innovation
Ensure compliance with military and aerospace standards (MIL-STD, ITAR, NATO STANAGs, UAV flight regulations)

Your profile

Experience in biomimetic robotics, UAV aerodynamics, or flapping-wing drone design
Knowledge of adaptive wing structures, soft actuators, and nature-inspired mechanics
Familiarity with AI-driven flight control, autonomous maneuvering, and swarm intelligence
Understanding of bio-inspired propulsion, morphing wings, and micro-air vehicles (MAVs)

Nice to have

Experience in military reconnaissance UAVs, low-observability flight, and bio-inspired stealth
Background in AI-enhanced control systems for natural flight adaptation
