Machine Learning Engineer for RF Signal Analysis (m/w/d) – AI-Powered UAV Signal Detection & Blocking

Your mission
  • Develop deep learning models for RF pattern recognition, enabling early detection and classification of UAV control signals
  • Design AI-driven spectrum monitoring systems to identify covert UAV communication, jamming attempts, and RF anomalies
  • Implement real-time signal processing pipelines for automated UAV signal interception and disruption
  • Optimize deep neural networks (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, GANs) for waveform classification and signal anomaly detection
  • Develop adaptive countermeasure algorithms to jam, spoof, or neutralize UAV control signals in real time
  • Integrate AI-powered RF analytics into software-defined radio (SDR) platforms (e.g., Ettus USRP, BladeRF, HackRF)
  • Conduct simulation-based (GNU Radio, MATLAB) and real-world field testing to validate ML-based RF signal detection
  • Ensure compliance with defense and cybersecurity standards (MIL-STD, ITAR, NATO STANAGs, FCC, NIST 800-171, CMMC)
Your profile
  • 5+ years experience in machine learning, RF signal processing, or electronic warfare (EW)
  • Expertise in deep learning-based RF spectrum analysis and UAV communication detection
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, TensorFlow/PyTorch, GNU Radio, and RF signal processing tools
  • Strong understanding of RF communication protocols, UAV telemetry, and adversarial AI defense strategies
  • Experience with real-time low-SNR signal detection, Bayesian inference, and reinforcement learning for RF optimization
Nice to have
  • Experience in military SIGINT, UAV signal intelligence, and AI-driven electronic warfare (EW)
  • Background in RF fingerprinting, low-probability-of-intercept (LPI) detection, and spectrum dominance strategies
  • Knowledge of quantum-enhanced RF analysis and AI-powered adversarial spoofing defense
