Radar Expert (m/w/d) – UAV Detection & Signal Processing

Your mission

Provide sensor selection support for advanced radar systems in UAV detection and tracking applications
Develop and optimize radar signal processing algorithms for object classification, Doppler analysis, and range estimation
Design and implement multi-static, passive, and active radar systems for enhanced UAV detection in contested environments
Work on SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar), MIMO radar, and passive bistatic radar technologies
Integrate radar data with EO/IR, RF, Lidar, and acoustic sensors for multi-sensor fusion
Optimize real-time radar processing on edge AI, FPGAs, and GPU-accelerated platforms
Conduct field testing, calibration, and validation of radar-based UAV detection systems
Ensure compliance with defense and aerospace standards for radar technology (MIL-STD, ITAR, NATO requirements)

Your profile

5+ years experience in radar engineering, RF signal processing, or electronic warfare (EW)
Strong expertise in radar waveform design, Doppler processing, and clutter suppression
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, or CUDA for radar signal processing
Proficiency in software-defined radio (SDR), phased array antennas, and real-time radar tracking
Knowledge of radar cross-section (RCS) reduction techniques and stealth detection strategies
Familiarity with commercial and military radar technologies (X-band, S-band, L-band, Ka-band, UWB radar)

Nice to have

Experience with passive radar and bistatic/multistatic detection systems
Background in AI-enhanced radar signal processing and cognitive radar systems
Knowledge of anti-jamming, low-probability-of-intercept (LPI) radar, and countermeasures
