Lohnbuchhalter (m/w/d) – Payroll Accounting & Compliance

Your mission

Manage monthly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws
Handle tax calculations, social security contributions, and deductions in accordance with legal requirements
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, employment contracts, and industry-specific financial policies
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including bonuses, benefits, and overtime calculations
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and ensure timely payments
Prepare payroll reports, tax filings, and financial statements for internal and external audits
Stay up to date with changes in payroll tax laws, social security contributions, and wage regulations

Your profile

3+ years experience in payroll accounting (Lohnbuchhaltung) or finance
Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, social security regulations, and labor law compliance
Experience with payroll software (DATEV, SAP, Lexware, or similar)
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial data
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools

Nice to have

Experience in payroll processing for defense, aerospace, or technology sectors
Knowledge of export control-related labor law compliance (ITAR, EAR, BAFA regulations)
Background in international payroll and cross-border employee compensation
