Tax & Compliance Manager – Regulatory Oversight & Defense Sector Compliance (m/w/d)

Your mission

Ensure compliance with international tax laws, defense industry regulations, and government procurement policies
Manage ITAR, EAR, FAR/DFARS, NATO procurement standards, and export control tax implications
Oversee corporate tax planning, transfer pricing strategies, and global tax risk management
Develop internal compliance frameworks to align with GAAP, IFRS, and SOX financial reporting standards
Conduct risk assessments and audits to ensure regulatory adherence in defense-related transactions
Work with legal, finance, and supply chain teams to structure tax-efficient operations for UAV sales and services
Monitor changes in defense tax laws, trade sanctions, and financial reporting requirements
Support grant applications, government funding programs, and tax incentives for R&D and defense innovation

Your profile

5+ years experience in tax planning, compliance, or financial risk management in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries
Strong expertise in corporate tax structures, government procurement regulations, and financial compliance
Experience with export control regulations (ITAR, EAR, BAFA), customs duties, and global tax planning
Proficiency in ERP systems, tax reporting software, and risk assessment tools
Knowledge of contractual compliance, audit procedures, and defense sector financial policies

Nice to have

Background in M&A tax structuring, dual-use technology taxation, or international tax law
Experience in R&D tax credits, government subsidies, and investment incentives
Familiarity with blockchain-based financial tracking and secure defense transaction compliance
