DevOps Engineer – Scalable & Secure UAV Defense Infrastructure (m/w/d) all levels

Your mission

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for UAV software, AI models, and embedded systems
Optimize cloud-native and edge computing infrastructure for real-time UAV data processing
Develop and maintain containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, k3s, MicroK8s) for UAV mission software
Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring for secure, scalable deployments
Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of UAV communication and control systems
Implement secure DevOps practices, including Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), IAM, and vulnerability scanning
Work closely with AI, embedded, and cybersecurity teams to streamline deployment workflows
Monitor and optimize cloud-edge hybrid deployments for low-latency UAV swarm operations

Your profile

3+ years experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or embedded system automation
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with real-time monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki)
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux) and infrastructure as code (IaC)
Familiarity with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and automated compliance enforcement
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation

Nice to have

Experience with edge AI deployments for UAV systems
Background in military-grade security and compliance (ITAR, NIST 800-171, CMMC)
Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and UAV swarm orchestration
