Supply Chain Resilience Manager – Risk Mitigation & Strategic Sourcing (m/w/d)

Your mission

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical tensions, export restrictions, and component shortages
Identify and secure alternative suppliers for critical UAV components (electronics, sensors, RF systems)
Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, BAFA, and other export control regulations for global sourcing
Conduct risk assessments on supplier dependencies, logistics bottlenecks, and regulatory challenges
Establish inventory buffers, just-in-time (JIT) alternatives, and diversified sourcing strategies
Work with logistics, procurement, and government affairs teams to ensure a stable supply chain
Monitor market trends, semiconductor availability, and regulatory changes impacting UAV production
Implement digital supply chain monitoring tools and AI-driven risk forecasting models

Your profile

5+ years experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries
Strong expertise in supply chain risk assessment, vendor diversification, and strategic sourcing
Experience with global trade regulations, export controls, and defense industry compliance
Knowledge of logistics optimization, ERP/MRP systems, and AI-driven supply chain analytics
Ability to manage multi-tier supplier networks and anticipate market disruptions

Nice to have

Experience in defense, UAV, or semiconductor supply chain resilience
Background in blockchain-based supply chain tracking and cybersecurity for logistics
Knowledge of federal and international supply chain security programs (CISA, NIST, ISO 28000)
