Head of Mechatronics & Swarm Robotics – Autonomous Air-Ground Defense Systems (m/w/d)

Your mission

5+ years experience in mechatronics, robotics, or autonomous system development
Expertise in swarm robotics, reinforcement learning, and real-time control systems
Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Rust for robotics software development
Experience with ROS2, Gazebo, AirSim, and real-time robotic simulation environments
Knowledge of sensor fusion, path planning (A, RRT, MPC), and multi-agent coordination*
Familiarity with UAV-ground unit integration for cooperative defense applications

Nice to have

Experience with military-grade robotic systems, exoskeletons, or autonomous ground vehicles
Background in hardened mechatronic designs for extreme environments (MIL-STD-810G, IP67/68-rated systems)
Knowledge of bio-inspired robotic movement and AI-driven adaptive swarm behavior
