Project Manager – UAV & Defense Technology (m/w/d)

Your mission

Lead end-to-end project execution for UAV swarm development
Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, AI, cybersecurity, and regulatory departments
Define milestones, risk assessments, and contingency plans for complex defense projects
Oversee customer and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment with defense and security requirements
Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, NATO procurement policies, and defense regulations
Drive agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for iterative development
Track KPIs, project performance metrics, and continuous process improvements

Your profile

5+ years experience in project management for defense, aerospace, or high-tech industries
Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum and high pace environments
Experience managing cross-functional teams in engineering, AI, and cybersecurity
Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project, Trello, Monday.com)
Familiarity with government contracting, military procurement cycles, and regulatory compliance
Ability to handle high-stakes, classified, and mission-critical projects

Nice to have

Background in UAV technology, AI, or embedded systems development
Experience working with military, defense contractors, and government agencies
Knowledge of risk management for security-sensitive defense projects
