5G/LoRa/Radio Communication Engineer – Low-Latency & Long-Range UAV Networking (m/w/d) all levels

Your mission
  • Develop and optimize wireless communication protocols for UAV-to-UAV (V2V) and UAV-to-Ground (V2G) links
  • Design low-latency, high-reliability 5G, LoRa, and RF-based communication architectures
  • Implement adaptive frequency hopping, interference mitigation, and spectrum allocation techniques
  • Optimize real-time data transmission for distributed UAV swarms in dynamic environments
  • Work with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) to develop flexible, reconfigurable wireless networks
  • Ensure secure and encrypted wireless communication, protecting against jamming and signal spoofing
  • Integrate AI-driven network optimization for adaptive bandwidth and power efficiency
Your profile
  • 3+ years experience in wireless communication engineering (5G, LoRa, RF, SDR)
  • Strong expertise in low-latency networking, real-time signal processing, and MIMO systems
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Rust for wireless protocol implementation
  • Experience with 5G NR, LoRaWAN, WiFi 6, mmWave, UWB, or V2X communication
  • Knowledge of RF security techniques (anti-jamming, spread spectrum, cryptographic authentication)
  • Familiarity with mesh networking, dynamic spectrum allocation, and software-defined networking (SDN)
Nice to have
  • Experience with cognitive radio and AI-based network optimization
  • Background in UAV swarm networking and ad-hoc mobile communication
  • Knowledge of federated learning for decentralized UAV communication
