Computer Vision & Object Detection Engineer (AI & Deep Learning for UAVs) (m/w/d) all levels

Your mission

Develop and optimize deep learning models for object detection, tracking, and scene understanding
Implement real-time computer vision algorithms for UAV-based perception systems
Work with sensor fusion (Radar, Lidar, EO/IR, Acoustic, RF) to enhance target recognition
Optimize CNNs, transformers, and self-supervised models for embedded and edge AI platforms
Develop adversarial AI defense mechanisms against spoofing and sensor attacks
Integrate vision-based obstacle avoidance into UAV navigation and swarm coordination
Deploy models on embedded AI accelerators (Jetson, Coral, Movidius, FPGA, Edge TPU)

Your profile

3+ years experience in computer vision and deep learning (PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV)
Strong expertise in CNNs, object detection (YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SSD), and tracking algorithms
Experience with real-time AI inference on embedded hardware (Jetson, Edge TPU, FPGA, CUDA, TensorRT)
Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust for high-performance AI applications
Knowledge of SLAM, optical flow, and multi-modal sensor fusion
Familiarity with onboard AI processing for UAVs, robotics, or autonomous systems

Nice to have

Experience with AI-based counter-UAV systems and adversarial AI defense
Background in reinforcement learning for autonomous navigation
Knowledge of infrared and hyperspectral imaging for target recognition
