IT Security Engineer (m/f/d) – Secure Network Infrastructure & Communication

Permanent employee, Full-time · Munich (DEU)
Your mission
  • Develop, implement, and optimize IT security concepts for network infrastructures and secure communication
  • Ensure compliance with security certifications and standards (BSI, ISO 27001, and other public sector regulations)
  • Manage and maintain on-premise and virtual servers (VServer) and implement VPN solutions for secure data transmission
  • Secure and manage company devices (Windows, Linux, macOS) and mobile devices, including patch management and security monitoring
  • Implement and manage two-factor authentication (2FA) solutions and handle classified communication (e.g., VSFD – Confidential for Official Use Only)
Your profile
  • Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with government agencies, military organizations (e.g., NATO, Bundeswehr), and security-critical institutions
  • Strong expertise in network security, on-premise and virtual server management, and VPN implementation
  • Hands-on experience in securing and managing company IT infrastructure in high-security environments
  • Knowledge of classified information security (e.g., VSFD) and two-factor authentication solutions
